1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Rooze ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Rooze is a collection of free, privacy-focused AI tools that run entirely in your browser. The Service includes, but is not limited to:

  • AI Text to Image generation
  • AI Image Upscaling
  • AI Superzoom
  • AI Background Removal
  • AI Image to Text (OCR)

All processing occurs locally in your browser. No data is transmitted to external servers for processing.

3. Privacy and Data Processing

Rooze is designed with privacy as a core principle. All AI processing happens entirely within your browser using WebAssembly and ONNX models. Your images, text prompts, and generated content never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to download or share them.

The Service may use browser localStorage to store preferences and settings locally on your device. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to any server.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate, process, or create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Generate content that violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Generate content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others
  • Generate any content that violates these Terms, including the Prohibited Content rules in Section 4A
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service

4A. Prohibited Content - Strict Prohibitions

Rooze’s tools run entirely in your browser and are designed so that prompts and images are processed locally on your device. As a result, Rooze generally does not have visibility into the prompts or images you use with the Service. To help reduce misuse, Rooze may run automated, in-browser text moderation designed to block attempts to create prohibited content.

You are strictly prohibited from using the Service to generate, create, or process any of the following (“Prohibited Content”):

  • Sexual / NSFW content: Any sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise NSFW content. Rooze does not permit using the Service to generate sexual content, even if all depicted persons are adults.
  • Content involving minors (No Minors): Any content that depicts, represents, or appears to represent minors (individuals under 18 years of age) in a sexual, explicit, or otherwise inappropriate context.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): Any content that constitutes or appears to constitute child sexual abuse material, child sexual exploitation, or sexual content involving minors.
  • Non-consensual sexual content (NCII): Any sexually explicit content that is non-consensual, including “revenge porn,” or content that depicts or implies a person did not (or could not) consent.
  • No real-person explicit content: Sexually explicit content depicting, representing, or appearing to represent a real, identifiable person (including celebrities, public figures, or private individuals), regardless of whether the depiction is photorealistic or stylized.
  • Sexual violence or coercion: Any sexual content that depicts or promotes rape, coercion, sexual assault, or exploitation.
  • Harassment, hate, or threats: Content that targets individuals or protected groups with harassment, hate speech, threats, or intimidation.
  • Illegal or harmful instructions: Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activity or provides instructions to commit wrongdoing (including violence, self-harm, or other criminal activity).

Violation of these prohibitions may result in restriction of features, suspension, or termination of your access to the Service, and may expose you to civil and/or criminal liability under applicable law.

You acknowledge that Rooze uses automated content moderation tools to detect prohibited content, but these tools may not catch all violations. You remain solely responsible for ensuring that all content you generate complies with these Terms and applicable laws.

5. Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you generate, process, or create using the Service. Because processing occurs locally in your browser, Rooze does not receive your prompts or images for server-side review by default. However, Rooze may use automated, in-browser checks (for example, text moderation) intended to block certain prohibited use cases.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and permissions to use any images or content you process through the Service, and that your use of the Service will not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Rooze and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Content generated by you using the Service belongs to you, subject to your compliance with these Terms and applicable laws. However, you acknowledge that AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection in some jurisdictions.

6A. Third-Party Models, Licensing, and Attribution

Rooze’s tools use machine learning models and related assets that are originally published by third-party creators on platforms such as Hugging Face and Civitai. Rooze is not affiliated with these creators and does not claim ownership of third-party models.

Rooze is not the creator or publisher of third-party models. Rooze does not develop, train, or endorse these models. Rooze’s role is to make publicly available models usable in the browser by converting and packaging them into browser-compatible formats when needed. You understand and agree that model outputs are generated by third-party models based on your inputs, and Rooze is not responsible for any outputs produced by those models.

To enable privacy-focused, in-browser execution, Rooze may provide browser-optimized versions of models (for example, converted formats). Where applicable, Rooze provides links to the original model card, the original downloadable model files, and the applicable license. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the applicable license terms for any model you use.

Many AI model licenses (including “OpenRAIL”-style licenses such as CreativeML OpenRAIL-M) include acceptable use or restricted use terms (for example, limitations on certain harmful or illegal uses). You agree to comply with any such acceptable use terms that apply to the specific models you use through the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Rooze does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. The Service may be subject to limitations, delays, and other problems inherent in the use of the Internet and electronic communications.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ROOZE, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rooze and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications to Terms

Rooze reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

Rooze reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Rooze operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
